Το Garmin Communicator Plugin ειναι μια δωρεαν επεκταση στον browser που εξασφαλιζει την επικοινωνια της συσκευης μεσω του Η/Υ με τους server της Garmin. Μεσω αυτης μπορει να γινει ενημερωση των χαρτων που εχουν αγοραστει για την συγκεκριμενη συσκευη ή να ανεβασει ο χρηστης προσωπικα δεδομενα στο Garmin Connect™.

Installation Instructions

Click on "Download" and choose to save the file to your computer.
Choose a location where you can easily locate the file by saving it to a location such as the "My Documents" folder or to "C:\".
Once the download is complete, go to the location where you saved the file and double-click on it.
Once the installation is complete, you may delete the downloaded file.

System requirements

IBM-compatible PC running Windows XP or later operating system and an available USB or Com 1, 2, 3, or 4 port.
PC Interface Cable for your GPS unit. The PC Interface Cable may be purchased through your local Garmin distributor or ordered direct from our Online Store.

Εχουμε αναβαθμιση στην εκδοση 4.0.4, εχει ενημερωθει το πρωτο post.

Γνωρίζετε αν υπάρχει πρόβλημα με την Garmin και το Communicator Plug-In, γιατί δεν διαβάζει τις συσκευές μου κανένα πρόγραμμα (WebUpdater-MapInstall κλπ) και μου βγάζει μήνυμα ο υπολογιστής ότι "η ακόλουθη προσθήκη δεν ανταποκρίνεται".

Εκανα επανεγκατάσταση των Usb Drivers και του Communicator Plug-In...αλλά τίποτα.

Προβλημα πρεπει να εχεις στο PC σου.

Το Webupdater βρισκει κανονικα το 3490 μου.
Ετσι κι αλλιως αυτο ειναι καθαρα θεμα drivers αφου το Webudater "διαβαζει" μονο το GarminDevice.xml της συσκευης σου και συγκρινει τις διαθεσιμες απο την Garmin εκδοσεις με αυτες που γραφει μεσα το GarminDevice.xml

Το Communicator Plug-In 4.0.4 δουλευει σωστα (Firefox), το δοκιμασα με το Google Maps οπου εστειλα μια διευθυνση της Γερμανιας στο 3490.
Εκανα απο το Google Maps "Send", μου ανοιξε και την επιλογη GPS και μολις εστειλα την διευθυνση σε Garmin GPS, ανοιξε αυτοματα tab με το myGarmin.com (χωρις να ειμαι signed in), οπου εκει αναζητηθηκε η συσκευη μου για πολυ λιγο και μετα μου εμφανισε ως επιλογες, και συσκευη και καρτουλα, για να στειλω την διευθυνση ως Αγαπημενο.

Τι win φορας;
Εχεις απενεργοποιησει το administrator κλπ κλπ;
Μετα την απεγκατασταση των drivers εκανες επανεκκινηση του PC, πριν ξανακανεις εγκατασταση των drivers;

Το Communicator Plug-In χρειαζεται μονο οταν θελουμε να πετυχουμε απ' ευθειας επικοινωνια με την μαμα Garmin οπως οταν θελουμε να συνδεθουμε με το myGarmin & να διαβασει την συσκευη μας, οι εφαρμογες MapUpdater, WebUpdater κ.λ.π δεν εχουν καμμια σχεση.

Καποιο προβλημα εχεις με το PC ή την συσκευη σου. Το PC σου διαβαζει την συσκευη για να κανεις αντιγραφη αρχειων ;

Καλημέρα παιδιά!
Συγγνώμη που δεν έχω απαντήσει ακόμα αλλά δεν ήμουν χθες σπίτι ούτε και τώρα, οπότε δεν έχω ασχοληθεί καθόλου με το πρόβλημα.

Μόλις επιστρέψω θα ασχοληθώ και θα ενημερώσω.

Κυριάκο, είχα κάνει επανεκκίνηση μετά την εγκατάσταση των Drivers.

Μάνο, τη συσκευή την διάβαζε κανονικά το PC και μάλιστα είχα μεταφέρει χάρτες απ' το Map Source.

Λοιπόν φίλοι μου,
αφαίρεσα δυό - τρία προγράμματα αρχικής εκκίνησης (και το Garmin Express), επανεκκίνησα δύο φορές και τώρα δουλεύουν όλα...ρολόι!!! hitten2
