Αυτό που θα ήθελα να αναφέρω εδώ είναι πως πρόκειται για τις πρώτες συσκευές της Garmin που έχουν την τεχνολογία δορυφορικής επικοινωνίας της inReach την οποία η Garmin απέκτησε μετά την εξαγορά της DeLorme. Τα νέα inReach SE + και inReach Explorer + έχουν pole to pole παγκόσμια δορυφορική κάλυψη [Πρέπει να είστε εγγεγραμμένοι και συνδεδεμένοι για να δείτε αυτόν το σύνδεσμο.] με δυνατότητα ανταλλαγής γραπτών μηνυμάτων και εκπομπής μηνύματων SOS με παγκόσμια κάλυψη.
