H εφαρμογη μπορει να δεχτει και να επεξεργαστει βιντεακια σε μορφη .mp4, οτι δλδ μας δινει μια Gopro ή ενα android κινητο ή κι αλλες ψηφιακες βιντεοκαμερες!!!
Μπορει να δεχτει και να συγχρονισει με το βιντεο, αρχεια .gpx και .fit (που περιεχουν δλδ εξτρα πληροφοριες απο αισθητηρες πχ καρδιας, θερμοκρασιας και συσκευες οπως ποδηλατικα ή αθλητικα Garmin).
Παρακατω ειναι ενα βιντεακι που τραβηξα με την Gopro ενω την ιδια στιγμη εκανα καταγραφη ιχνους (.gpx λεγε με ...Activity στα Garminικα) με το Garrmin Fit σε android κινητο.
Το Activity ανεβηκε στο Garmin Cοnnect μου κι απο κει το κατεβασα στον υπολογιστη.
Φορτωσα το βιντεακι και το Activity στο Virb Edit, χρησιμοποιησα τα default οργανακια για το συγκεκριμενο Activity (γιατι αν εμπαινα στον πειρασμο να βαλω καποια αλλα απο τα δεκαδες που εχει τοτε...) και συγχρονισα οσο μπορουσα και στα γρηγορα και για πρωτη φορα τα δυο αρχεια (το πιο "πονηρο" σημειο, εδω θα πρεπει να κανω δοκιμες και να βγαλουμε μεθοδολογια).
Εννοειται οτι αν φορουσα και την ζωνη καρδιας θα εβγαινε το Activity ως .fit και οχι ως .gpx (δεν υποστηριζει τις εξτρα "αθλητικες" μεταβλητες) και θα ειχα και οργανακι με τους παλμους της καρδιας.
Μπορει να δεχτει και να συγχρονισει με το βιντεο, αρχεια .gpx και .fit (που περιεχουν δλδ εξτρα πληροφοριες απο αισθητηρες πχ καρδιας, θερμοκρασιας και συσκευες οπως ποδηλατικα ή αθλητικα Garmin).

Τελικα και συνολικα μια ....ΑΠΟΓΟΗΤΕΥΣΗ (Eκδοση 2.9.2)
Το μονο που μπορει να κανει αυτο το "προγραμματακι" γιατι δεν ειναι προγραμμα επεξεργασιας βιντεο ειναι μικρα και ΑΠΛΑ κλιπακια οπου θα φαινονται τα οργανακια...
- Δεν εχει μετρητη καρε (frames) αλλα μονο δευτερολεπτα πραgma που με 50 ή 60 fps ειναι ατοπο, να μην πω καμια αλλη λεξη...
- Δεν εχει timeline, εχει μονο thumbnails
- Δεν εχει fade in και fade out ουτε για βιντεο, ουτε για μουσικη
- Tετοια transitions θα τα εφτιαχνε κι ενα πενταχρονο
- Δεν μπορεις να βαλεις ξεχωριστη μουσικη στα διεσπασμενα κλιπακια ενος βιντεο, βαζει αυτοματα σε ολοκληρο το βιντεο
- Δεν μπορεις να βαλεις ξεχωριστα οργανακια στα διεσπασμενα κλιπακια ενος βιντεο, βαζει οργανακια (ή τα αφαιρει) για ολοκληρο το βιντεο
- Δεν μπορεις να σωσεις εσυ οποτε θελεις το project σου και ευτυχως βαλανε και undo στην προτελευταια εκδοση
Αν δηλαδη θελεις να φτιαξεις ενα βιντεο απο ενα αρχειο οπου στο πρωτο κομματι θα φαινεται μονο το υψομετρο, στο δευτερο τιποτα, στο τριτο η ταχυτητα και στο τελευταιο ταχυτητα και καρδιακοι παλμοι θα πρεπει να φτιαξεις 4 ξεχωριστα "ιδια" βιντεο (απο την αρχη μεχρι το τελος), το καθενα με τα δικα του οργανακια και μετα να πας σε ενα "σωστο" προγραμμα επεξεργασιας και να κοψεις και να κρατησεις απο καθενα απο τα 4 βιντεο, μονο τα κομματια που σε ενδιαφερουν, δλδ αστα να πανε, να μην πω τιποτα χειροτερο....
Ετσι λοιπον μην ξεγελιεστε απο τα "επισημα" βιντεακια της Garmin, αυτα δεν ειναι φτιαγμενα στο Virb Edit, αλλα σε διαφορετικα, πολυ πιο ακριβα κι επαγγελματικα προγραμματα.
Το μονο που κανει καλα (οταν δεν κολλαει, που μου κολλουσε συνεχεια χωρις λογο και χωρις να κανω τιποτα βιαστικο ή πολυπλοκο) ειναι να να βαζει οργανακια στο βιντεο.
Για ολα τα υπολοιπα θελει να εχετε και να ξερετε να δουλευετε ή το Premiere ή το Studio και κει να κανετε επεξεργασια βιντεο, ηχου και μουσικης.
Το μονο καλο που εχει ειναι οτι οταν κοψετε το αρχικο βιντεο σε κλιπακια (κομματια) και σβησετε καποια απο αυτα, τα υπολοιπα δεν χανουν το συγχρονισμο τους με το gpx ή το fit
Aρα ...ανθρακες ο θησαυρος, εκτος για πολυ απλα πραγματακια κι αν κρινω και απο τις προδιαγραφες των νεων καμερων VIRB Χ-ΧΕ αυτες ειναι ακομα χειροτερες ή ιδιες απο τις Gopro 3+ του 2013, οποτε και μακραν πισω απο τις Gopro 4 του 2014 και επιπλεον εχουν μεγαλυτερες διαστασεις απο την Gopro και ειναι κατα 70% βαρυτερες απο την χωρις θηκη Gopro (ευτυχως τουλαχιστον που τους εκοψε και εβαλαν στις νεες VIRB βαση που να ειναι συμβατη με την βαση της Gopro).
Δεν μπορω παντως να καταλαβω τι γινεται τελευταια στην Garmin (προγραμματα, συσκευες, bugs), ζουνε σε αλλες εποχες ή σε αλλο πλανητη απο τον ανταγωνισμο τους;;;
Το μονο που μπορει να κανει αυτο το "προγραμματακι" γιατι δεν ειναι προγραμμα επεξεργασιας βιντεο ειναι μικρα και ΑΠΛΑ κλιπακια οπου θα φαινονται τα οργανακια...
- Δεν εχει μετρητη καρε (frames) αλλα μονο δευτερολεπτα πραgma που με 50 ή 60 fps ειναι ατοπο, να μην πω καμια αλλη λεξη...
- Δεν εχει timeline, εχει μονο thumbnails
- Δεν εχει fade in και fade out ουτε για βιντεο, ουτε για μουσικη
- Tετοια transitions θα τα εφτιαχνε κι ενα πενταχρονο
- Δεν μπορεις να βαλεις ξεχωριστη μουσικη στα διεσπασμενα κλιπακια ενος βιντεο, βαζει αυτοματα σε ολοκληρο το βιντεο
- Δεν μπορεις να βαλεις ξεχωριστα οργανακια στα διεσπασμενα κλιπακια ενος βιντεο, βαζει οργανακια (ή τα αφαιρει) για ολοκληρο το βιντεο

Εχουμε αναβαθμιση στην εκδοση 3.0.1, εχει ενημερωθει το πρωτο post.
Οσοι ασχολειστε διαβαστε προσεκτικα την αναφορα αλλαγων σε αυτη την εκδοση, η Garmin προσθεσε αρκετες νεες δυνατοτητες στο λογισμικο που πιστευω αποτελουν μια ευχαριστη εκπληξη. Βεβαια σημαντικο ρολο παιζει & η παρουσιαση αλλων δυο σπορ cams, των VIRB X/XE, το ειδος εχει μελλον οποτε θα πρεπει να περιμενουμε ακομα περισσοτερες δυνατοτητες.
Η διαρκης εξελιξη σε αυτη την εφαρμογη σιγουρα αποδιδει καρπους σε αντιθεση βεβαια με αλλες περιπτωσεις οπως το Lifetime Updater & το Garmin Express που συμπεριφερονται σαν μαυρες τρυπες ...

Εχουμε αναβαθμιση της εφαρμογης στην εκδοση 3.1.0, εχει ενημερωθει το πρωτο post.
Οπως η προηγουμενη αναβαθμιση ετσι & αυτη προσθετει νεες δυνατοτητες στην εφαρμογη, κανει βελτιωσεις & διορθωνει διαφορα μικροπροβληματα οπου αυτα εχουν παρουσιαστει. Σε αυτο το σταδιο η εφαρμογη ειναι σε παρα πολυ καλο επιπεδο & πιστευω πολυ συντομα θα μπορει να καλυψει & τον πιο απαιτητικο.
